Your Privacy Rights
We wrote this page in plain language so you know exactly where you stand. It summarizes the rights you have over your personal information and how to use them. For the complete legal detail, see our Privacy Policy; to opt out of any sale or sharing, see Your Privacy Choices.
Who has these rights
Residents of states with comprehensive consumer-privacy laws — including California (the CCPA as amended by the CPRA), Connecticut, Virginia, Colorado, and a growing number of others — have the rights below. We extend the same core choices to every customer as a matter of good practice, regardless of where you live.
The rights you have
- Know and access. Ask what personal information we collect about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we share it with — and get a copy of it.
- Correct. Ask us to fix personal information that is inaccurate.
- Delete. Ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep to complete a transaction or comply with the law).
- Opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. We use analytics and advertising cookies that may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under state law — you can opt out at any time, including via Global Privacy Control (GPC). See Your Privacy Choices.
- Limit sensitive information. Ask us to limit the use of sensitive personal information to what’s needed to provide our services.
- Data portability. Get a copy of your information in a portable, usable format.
- Appeal. If we decline a request, ask us to reconsider.
- No retaliation. Receive the same price and level of service whether or not you exercise any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
Choose whichever is easiest: call 844-425-1065, email support@thekingoftickets.com with “Consumer Privacy Rights” in the subject line, use our contact form, or mail a written request — including the nature of your request and your name and address — to King Of Tickets LLC, 400 Renaissance Center, Suite 2600, Detroit, MI 48243.
We will verify your identity before acting on a request (usually by confirming details we already have on file), and we’ll respond within the time the law requires — generally 45 days, with one extension where permitted. There’s no charge for a reasonable request. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission and proof of their authority.
California “Shine the Light”
California residents may request, once a year and free of charge, information about the categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes. This is separate from the analytics and advertising cookies described in Your Privacy Choices: because we do not hand your personal information to third parties for use in their own direct-marketing campaigns, our response will reflect that — but you’re welcome to ask using the contact details above.
