Buying tickets
How do I buy tickets on TheKingOfTickets.com?
Search for a performer, team, event, or venue, choose your event, then pick a listing. You'll see the full all-in price before you check out, enter your contact, delivery and payment details, and confirm your order. You can also order by phone at 844-712-1272 and our team will place the order with you.
Are the tickets on TheKingOfTickets.com real and legitimate?
Yes. We work only with licensed or registered professional ticket sellers nationwide, and every order is backed by our 100% Buyer Guarantee — your tickets are guaranteed to be valid for entry and delivered in time for the event, or you're covered by a refund. We are an established secondary-market marketplace, not an unverified auction or classifieds site.
Why can't I buy the exact number of tickets I want?
Two reasons. Event organizers often limit how many tickets one person can buy — commonly four or eight. And sellers list tickets in set quantities (you'll see listings like "2 or 4") to avoid leaving a single hard-to-sell seat behind. If a listing doesn't have the quantity you need, use the quantity filter on the listings page to find one that does.
Can I combine tickets from different listings in one order?
No. Each listing may come from a different seller, and each seller fulfils its own order separately, so separate listings can't be combined into a single cart or transaction. You can still buy from multiple listings, but as separate orders — and tickets bought across separate orders aren't guaranteed to be seated together. For large or multi-event orders, contact our team for help.
Can I buy tickets right before the event starts?
You can buy tickets any time before the event starts, but we recommend buying early — the best tickets sell first, and last-minute orders carry a higher chance the tickets are no longer available (if that happens, you won't be charged, or you'll be refunded). For very late orders, delivery may not complete until shortly after the event begins, so look for instant-download, electronic-transfer, or mobile e-ticket listings when buying last-minute.
Can I buy tickets as a gift?
Yes. Tickets don't require the holder to show ID at the event, so they're fully transferable — you can forward electronic tickets to the recipient or deliver them yourself. For a gift, forward the tickets from your email or ticketing app once they arrive, or transfer them straight to the recipient.
Do I need an account to buy tickets?
You can browse freely without an account. At checkout you'll enter your name, email, delivery and payment details, and your order confirmation and delivery instructions arrive by email — so use an address you check. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase.
Trust & safety
Is TheKingOfTickets.com a safe and legitimate company?
Yes. We're an established ticket marketplace that works only with licensed or registered professional ticket sellers nationwide, every order is protected by our 100% Buyer Guarantee, and we provide real U.S.-based customer support by phone and email. Tickets come from vetted professional sellers, not anonymous individuals.
How do you secure tickets for resale?
We don't own, price, or ship the tickets listed on our site — that responsibility belongs to the licensed or registered professional ticket sellers who own them. Those sellers obtain inventory in a variety of ways, such as special sales access, season tickets, fan-club packages, and presale codes. Our role is to give you a secure, convenient buying experience backed by the 100% Buyer Guarantee.
Why buy here instead of an auction or classifieds site?
Unlike purchases on auction or classifieds sites, every purchase here is backed by the 100% Buyer Guarantee, prices are all-in with no surprise fees at checkout, and you have real customer support if anything goes wrong. Peer-to-peer sites offer none of those protections — and they're where most ticket scams happen.
Is my personal and payment information secure?
Yes. Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant third-party processor, and we don't store your full card number, expiration date, or security code. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your data — see our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it's used.
Are you affiliated with the venues, teams, or performers?
No. TheKingOfTickets.com is an independent secondary marketplace and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or the primary box office for any venue, team, or performer, unless we specifically state otherwise. Prices are set by independent sellers and may differ from face value.
How do I contact customer support?
You can reach our support team by phone at 844-712-1272 or by email at support@thekingoftickets.com. We're happy to help with orders, delivery, seating questions, and anything covered by our Buyer Guarantee.
Prices & fees
Does the price I see include all fees?
There are no fees. The price shown on the listing and seating map is the full ticket price — no service fee, no booking fee, no delivery fee, and nothing added at checkout for any delivery method. Sales tax applies in some states and is shown before you pay. You'll see the full breakdown before you confirm.
Do you charge sales tax?
In some states, yes. It depends on where the event is held rather than where you live, and in most states nothing is added at all. Where sales tax does apply it appears as its own line on the checkout page before you enter payment details, so you always see the final total before you commit. Tax is set by the state and county — it isn't a fee we charge or keep.
Why are some ticket prices higher (or lower) than face value?
TheKingOfTickets.com is a secondary marketplace, so prices are set by independent sellers based on demand, not by us. For high-demand events, prices can be above face value; for others they can be below. Because sellers compete, it's worth comparing listings to find the best value.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards are accepted at checkout, and the exact options available for your order — including any digital wallets or pay-later plans — are shown on the payment step before you confirm. All prices are charged in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.
Can I split payment across multiple methods?
No — an order must be paid with a single payment method. If more than one person is contributing, one option is to collect from your group first (for example, via Venmo) and then pay for the order in one transaction. Tickets bought across separate orders aren't guaranteed to be seated together.
What will the charge look like on my statement?
The charge appears under the name of our ticketing and payment partner, who processes payment as the merchant of record for every order placed here — so the descriptor won't say The King of Tickets and it won't name the individual seller. It's one charge for the full all-in price, matching the total on your order confirmation. If you see a charge you don't recognize, call 844-712-1272 or email support@thekingoftickets.com and we'll look it up.
When will my card be charged?
Your card is authorized as soon as you submit the order and charged once the order is confirmed. Payment is processed by our ticketing partner, who is the merchant of record — so you'll see a single charge for the full all-in price rather than separate charges from individual sellers. Your card may be authorized before availability is confirmed; if the tickets turn out to be unavailable, you won't be charged, or you'll be refunded in full.
Your tickets & seating
Will my seats be together?
Tickets within a single listing are seated together unless the listing specifically says otherwise. If you place two separate orders, though, those tickets are not guaranteed to be next to each other — so to sit together, buy the full quantity you need from one listing.
Can I choose my exact seat numbers?
No. For privacy and security reasons, specific seat numbers aren't listed on the site and can't be selected by the buyer — they become available at the time of delivery. Listings show the section and row, which are what determine your view and value; your seats within a single order are together unless the listing notes otherwise.
What is General Admission (GA) or Standing Room Only (SRO)?
General Admission means unreserved, first-come, first-served entry with no assigned seat, and Standing Room Only is a standing area. If a GA ticket shows a seat number, it's typically a placeholder used by the system — your entry is still valid for the GA area.
What does "obstructed" or "limited view" mean?
It means something — like a pillar, railing, speaker, or stage equipment — may partially block your view of the stage or field. These seats are usually priced lower, and listings note the limited view up front so you can decide if the trade-off is worth it.
Do you sell ADA/wheelchair-accessible seating?
Accessible seating is available for many events. When a listing is designated ADA or wheelchair-accessible it will say so; if you need accessible seating and aren't sure, contact our support team at 844-712-1272 and we'll help you find appropriate options.
Will my name be printed on the tickets?
No. Because these are secondary-market tickets transferred from the original seller, your name generally won't appear on them. This does not affect your ability to enter the event — the tickets are valid for entry as delivered.
Getting your tickets
How will I receive my tickets?
The delivery method is set by the seller and shown on each listing before you buy and again at checkout. Most listings are electronic: mobile transfer (you accept the tickets into the venue's or team's ticketing app), e-ticket PDFs you download, or instant download shortly after purchase. After the seller confirms your order, you'll get an email with delivery instructions, so use an accurate email address.
Will I get my tickets in time if the event is soon?
Yes — once the seller confirms your order, your tickets are guaranteed to arrive in time for the event regardless of delivery method, as part of our 100% Buyer Guarantee. For last-minute orders, look for instant-download or mobile-transfer listings, which arrive fastest. If you haven't received delivery instructions, contact support right away.
What are e-tickets and instant-download tickets?
E-tickets and instant-download tickets are delivered electronically as a PDF file that you download to present at the venue. With instant download, the tickets are sent moments after your order is confirmed. You'll get an email with a secure link and any credentials needed to access them, so use an accurate email address at checkout.
I don't have a printer — can I still use my tickets?
Often yes. Mobile transfer tickets are displayed from your phone, and many venues accept a phone display of PDF e-tickets — but for PDF e-tickets, printing is the safest option, with mobile display as a backup. If you can't print and need help, you can find printing at hotels, libraries, or shops like FedEx/Staples, or contact support at 844-712-1272 before the event.
How do mobile transfer tickets work?
For mobile transfer, you'll receive an email or notification to accept the tickets into a ticketing app or account (usually the team's, the venue's, or the original ticketing provider's app — your transfer email names it). Follow the link, accept the transfer, and present the tickets from your phone at the venue. Use the email address on your order so you don't miss the transfer.
Guarantee, refunds & changes
What does the 100% Buyer Guarantee cover?
Every order is guaranteed on four points: your tickets will be authentic and valid for entry; you'll get the seats you paid for (or equal or better); they'll be delivered in time for the event; and if the event is canceled and not rescheduled, you'll receive a refund. If something goes wrong, our support team makes it right.
Can I get a refund or exchange after I buy?
All sales are final, so tickets generally can't be refunded, exchanged, or canceled once purchased — this is standard across ticket marketplaces because each ticket is unique. The main exceptions are covered by our Buyer Guarantee: a canceled event with no reschedule, or a failure to deliver valid tickets in time.
What happens if my event is postponed or rescheduled?
Your tickets remain valid for the new date in almost all cases, so hold onto them — you typically don't need new tickets and won't need to rebuy. If new tickets are required, we'll contact you. Refunds aren't issued for rescheduled events, since your tickets are still good.
What happens if my event is canceled?
If an event is canceled and not rescheduled, contact us at support@thekingoftickets.com for a refund of the ticket price and any sales tax paid on it. You may be asked to return physical tickets. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
What if I'm denied entry at the venue?
Contact us immediately at 844-712-1272. Valid entry is covered by our 100% Buyer Guarantee: if you're denied entry through no fault of your own, you're eligible for a full refund of the ticket price and any sales tax paid. Keep any documentation the venue gives you and send it to support@thekingoftickets.com so we can resolve your case quickly.
