Our mission

TheKingOfTickets.com connects fans to concerts, sports, and theater events across the country. We believe buying tickets should be simple and honest. No service, booking or delivery fees; sales tax applies in some states and is shown before you pay. The price on the listing is the ticket price.

That standard applies to every event we list, from a hometown Detroit game to a touring Broadway show in New York. The number you see before you click through is the number you pay for the ticket itself, and any sales tax is disclosed before you enter payment details, not buried after you've already committed to checkout.

How it works

We're a marketplace. The King of Tickets is an independent resale marketplace. Resale prices may be above or below face value. Tickets are listed by licensed or registered professional ticket sellers, and every order is backed by our 100% Buyer Guarantee: valid tickets, delivered in time, or your money back. The guarantee takes effect when the ticket seller confirms your order. For denied entry, email written proof from the venue to support@thekingoftickets.com within 10 days of the event. That guarantee is not an add-on you pay extra for. It applies automatically to every confirmed order, at no additional cost, the moment the seller confirms your tickets.

How we check prices

A ticket price is only useful if it's current, so we check listings on a schedule tied to how soon the event is. Events happening within the next 24 hours are rechecked at least every few hours, since same-day inventory moves fastest. Events coming up within the next 30 days are rechecked at least every two days. Further out, we check less often, because a show months away doesn't need the same minute-by-minute attention as one tonight.

Every price panel on the site states its own current window, so you can see how recently a number was checked before you rely on it. If a price on a listing has gone stale by the time you open it, we show “Check availability” and load the current board instead of an outdated number.
